Anyone scared of needles? on 18:55 - Feb 12 with 3327 views | Warhurst | Yes. I'm ok with pain in general but giving blood turns me into a scared little girl. I even offered to cut my skin with a knife last time but sadly that didn't work
Anyone scared of needles? on 18:58 - Feb 12 with 3324 views | BloomBlue | Just a little prick

I had an operation on my eye and they had to adjust the stitches whilst I was awake. Odd experience.
Anyone scared of needles? on 19:21 - Feb 12 with 3293 views | hampstead_blue | I used to be. It was stopped when I gave someone an injection myself and then canulated the same person. He was about 6ft 5 and blocked out the sun. I was terrified that I'd make a mess of it and his spare hand would become a huge fist and knock me out! That kind of ended it all. I still am not a fan who would be!
| Assumption is to make an ass out of you and me.
Those who assume they know you, when they don't are just guessing.
Those who assume and insist they know are daft and in denial.
Those who assume, insist, and deny the truth are plain stupid.
Those who assume, insist, deny the truth and tell YOU they know you (when they don't) have an IQ in the range of 35-49.

This is the last "shot" excuse the pun to try and recover some hearing left side. Got diagnosed with unilateral sudden sensorineural hearing loss. Also constant tinnitus in left side, it's horrible.

SSNHL, got off a flight from Vegas and was sick, thought I was just suffering with a bad cold and cabin pressure as hearing didn't seem right wither. Five weeks ago that was, now after a 14 day course of Prednisone, brain MRI and CT scan later and I today i got diagnosed with this unexplained thing. Blood work and imaging all normal so that's good, appears it's just unlucky. Last chance is 3 Intratympanic steroid injections through the ear drum. https://www.uptodate.com/contents/sudden-sensorineural-hearing-loss

The giant cotton bud is bad enough. Apparently the nurses call it the eeek test.

Anyone scared of needles? on 21:31 - Feb 12 with 3133 views | Guthrum | Had to have an MRI scan a few days ago. Managed four minutes out of the 15 required before suffering a massive claustrophobic panic attack and having to bale out. Had got to about the 6th iteration of the "being buried alive" dream when I realised I couldn't breathe any more. Used to be quite bad as a child, but thought I was well over it - obviously not.
