When we scored the whole bench celebrated and stepped well over the marked area. The fourth official had a gonat MM and MM told him to get lost. Why on Earth anyone would think MM would choose, on camera, to tell his own fans to FO when his team had just scored what appeared to be the winner in a Derby shows how how quickly people are looking to criticise him.

One imagines hed have been sent off if that were the case. The agression shown doesnt seem consistent with that explanation either. Cant be certain of course.

No, it was passion in the heat of the moment and you don’t get sent off for overstepping the marked area.
Why on earth would he be telling the town fans to FO when we had just scored??

McCarthy definitely shouted 'feck off', definitely toward the section where the Town fans were. In fact, he celebrated in the opposite direction to TC and the rest of the bench, who did go toward the 4th official.

You get sent off without a doubt for shouting f off at an official with that sort of agression.
You gent sent off for that kind of aggression anywhere on the field. McCarthy has previous of on-camera aggression, ie the "F*CK OFF YOU C*NT" in the derby last year. Find it inexplicable that he would aim that at his own fans - but because Stu Says so, a lot seem to have jumped on.
If that is indeed the case, he might as well feck off now and be done with it.

Well if that’the case then he should be sacked, I agree. But I’ve not seen any clear evidence of that.

Mick outers will use anything against him, even when, as the evidence you've provided, clearly states he's telling the 4th official to f-off and not the fans.

Mick outers are funny.
The evidence doesnt show anything of the sort.

It’s simple, Town fans had just booed his final substitution and his negativity in not bringing on Celina, instead bringing on a defender to take a point. Town fans responded by singing ‘your football is sh*t’ so Micks reaction was clearly aimed at the Town fans, it was in the direction they were located but of course, there will be some that continue to defend him. For me, it’s time for him to go.

Actually it does. The first hand account of the talk sport man on the touch line ws that MM was having an altercation with the fourth official (as was TC). There is no mention that he was swearing at the fans. If he had been, don’t you think the person right there reporting on it might have noticed?

The timing you have suggested has nothing of the sort- perhaps you could correct the timing?

Exactly, the conversation with the 4th official took place AFTER he swore at the fans. What is wrong with some people?
Also very clearly looking up into the distance, not at someone nearby. And into the pitch / towards the end- whereas the fourth official would presumably be on the sidelines somewhere rather than near the penalty spot...

Sorry, this doesn’t prove he was swearing at the fans. It doesn’t even prove what he was saying. It certainly doesn’t show him saying “f*** off” and nor does it show him looking at the town fans (which I think would have been to his left but he is looking straight ahead).
God, some of you are desperate to have a witch hunt aren’t you?
In this day and age, this kind of thing (if it was true) would have been picked up by the media. Sky didn’t, talk sport didn’t and radio Suffolk haven’t. It’s all come from a post on here. Crazy.

What are you watching? The f Off is absolutely clear, as is the fact he was plainly facing the away end
