I was the closest seat to the aisle and there was about 30 people around me without a seat. As we scored, they surged forward and I went straight over. Landed on one of those poles the seats are attached to and have impaled my chest and hit me head.
Few people pulled me out as I was down. Missed the whole celebrations. Had to ask Steve who scored our goal after the game.
Gutting to get done like that. So so close to a win. With our only attack second half. Oh well.. there’s always next year I suppose.
There will always be another year Rommers. Go get yourself check out. Take it easy.
Pronouns: He/Him/His.
"Imagine being a heterosexual white male in Britain at this moment. How bad is that. Everything you say is racist, everything you say is homophobic. The Woke community have really f****d this country."
The problem was that the stewards let loads of Town fans spend the game in the aisle. My seat had me plus two others in it so when they joined the surge, I got taken down. The seat I went straight through a few rows down and the other side of the aisle came off and I was left straight into the metal pole.
The two bits that stick out that pole have imprinted onto my chest. If I haven’t punctured a lung, it’s a miracle.

Crazy stuff to then not even win.
I'm sorry to hear that- sounds excruciating.
You now have the delight of being able to sue Norwich City Football Club for their failure to ensure your health and safety and allowing breaches of ground regulations resulting in your injury...
Get any friends you were with to write statements. You've written yours above.
Thankfully, two old women moved from exactly where it happened.
I literally went to scream as we scored but before anything came out, I hit the floor.
Came round and the restart had happened and the game was right at the end. 2 minutes later and then c**ts scored. Which I missed. Barts fault apparently.

One of the stewards spent the second half shouting to his mates ‘it’s unsafe it’s unsafe’.
But there was no room for any of them in the aisle to go anywhere.

One of the stewards was saying "It's unsafe" and they did nothing about it?
That makes it worse for them, not better.
You know how the adverts go:
"Ever been injured in an accident that wasn't your fault?"
I'm a venue licensee. I would expect to be sued for this. Clear breaches of ground regulations, problem identified by steward but no action. It's up to you, but if you lose any days of work, and as a result money, from this then you are entitled to seek compensation. And for the pain and injury.

Sue the b*stards Rommy and dent their transfer budget for next year 😉
we must have had 6 in about 2 seats.... i'm not joking when I say I think there were people in there without tickets.
I never made it to my seat i just mooched about and stood on the stairwell.
A few times a couple of those 'hire a steward'type people went to walk past me and thought fk that im not going up there as it looked a right mess further up the stand.
