It’s pretty dull isn’t it. When was the last time we had something to get excited about? This afternoon was as close as it has got and even that gets snatched away from us.

Don’t get me wrong I know there are plenty of clubs who would love to have our stature & history and we have at least maintained our Championship status rather than dropping down the levels.

It probably sounds like self pity but I just wish something would happen to break the monotony. Those of us who have been around for a while at least have some happy memories of the past but I really feel for our younger fans who have had nothing (literally) to shout about.

I'm one of those in my 20's who has never really seen this club be succesful in any meaningful way. The best i can point to is the season we came 3rd under Royle and then standardly lost in the playoff semis. I'm now not attending regularly, as from what ive seen, we have no track record of winning any big games or even many games in general.
