I have a task for you all.... 19:11 - Feb 18 with 5101 viewsITFC_Follower

No money. 5 years to get to the Prem. No complaints about a chairman who has kept this club going.

Who is the manager to get you promoted?

Who are the players you will bring in?

You can use current players to sell to make funds for the players you want in.

I look forward to your answers championship manager experts :)

I'll complain all I like about a Chairman who has spent £3m for fees out of the £15m the Manager has generated through fees thanks.

In the spirit of reconciliation and happiness at the end of the Banter Era (RIP) and as a result of promotion I have cleared out my ignore list. Look forwards to reading your posts!

Lets set some ground rules.

Do all managers start from an even financial level or are we saying that having parachute payments don't count or other owners can lump in what they like ? Can FFP be ignored or not ?

No question I’d sell skuse and chambers, that’d raise £10m straight away

That is the most productive message so far. I will give you that.

Not really bothered about getting to the Prem. Been there and done that and it feels fairly futile in these days of a few obscenely monied clubs dominating the game. I'd appoint someone committed to providing the fans with £30 worth of entertainment every other week instead.

Had it been at the start of this season I’d have got Luke berry in from cambridge. Luton paid £250k for him so as we’re starting from now though, I wouldn’t be able to get him till the summer so say £400k as his stocks gone up in that time. Would save about a million quid a year ditching mick and paying me a 20% portion of his wage. I haven’t got time to do further seasons as I can’t be bothered and I’m not a football manager and I guess I should just F off as a result.

Even after the owner has pocketed that £15m, he is still down by an average of £4-£5m per season. You realise that?

That is a good effort. The best so far. I do not think the vast amount of keen posters on here are interested or able to find an answer.

Thank you for your efforts.

Why would I bring in a manager and then buy and sell the players. Isn’t that his job?

It's 106 miles to Portman Road, we've got a full tank of gas, half a round of Port Salut, it's dark... and we're wearing blue tinted sunglasses.

I'd like to see Maurice Steijn or Nathan Jones given a chance.

We really need to focus on the right back, centre back and left midfield positions in the summer as that's where we're at our weakest. At this stage I would not offer David McGoldrick a new contract which means we'd probably have to be in for a new striker too.

I would like to see Gleeson and Carayol have their contracts extended. Although 32, James Perch is out of contract at QPR and might not make for a bad makeweight whilst we see if Emmanuel can get up to speed. Left midfield seems to be a position where Mick has leaned towards season long loans from Premier League clubs - if Villa go up I wonder if they'd loan us Andre Green for the season to help his potential? We might have a chance of retaining Celina, I guess, unless City want to sell.

In terms of a centre back we could do worse than getting Carter-Vickers back for a further season; it's not like he's going to break into the Spurs line up any time soon. As for a striker, Nicky Maynard seems to be out of contract at Aberdeen; whilst it current record is not great I think he'd do an okay job at this level.

I would be relying on our centre midfield picking up less injuries than last season but that's a risk we'll have to take IMO.

Are you saying that you think he has profited 12 million? If not surely that means he has spent it on the club albeit not on transfer fees. Hardly scandalous is it
