Mcgoldrick out for the season? on 22:30 - Feb 21 with 3873 views | BloomBlue | I thought McG said a couple of months ago he wouldn't sign a new contract, intending to leave Town
Mcgoldrick out for the season? on 22:30 - Feb 21 with 3871 views | Vaughan8 | On his showing at the weekend, he won't be missed. Would really like to see a young striker given a subs place and brought on for the last few mins etc. However I'm sure Bru will be ahead of any of them! [Post edited 21 Feb 2018 22:30]

He must have some pretty delicate delicate parts to get injured there after how little he did on Sunday. | | | | Login to get fewer ads

Just pure lazy, everyone can see that. Never puts a tackle in when losing the ball,Garner however will fight for every lost cause

It's a shame he hasn't been showing that when he's been on the pitch recently.

That's rubbish. He was ineffective on the ball on Sunday but he worked hard and hassled a lot. Anyone questioning his effort is an idiot.

Hassled who exactly? And when? Waste of time bringing him on again, get rid ASAP
Mcgoldrick out for the season? on 22:49 - Feb 21 with 3558 views | Trequartista | You can't fake a torn groin. You have to question these training sessions though. The quest for ultimate fitness has left a trail of broken bodies.

He was pushing up when the Norwich CBs had the ball, tracking back when their midfield had it and remember him battling for the ball three or four times on the far touchline. And according to the stats he made 2 successful tackles which was as many as anyone in the team despite him only being on the pitch for a third of the match. With the ball, he did very little when we needed him to. But let's not make things up about his effort.

If Garner didn't chuck himself to the floor at every opportunity, fighting for those causes might actually be worthwhile.

We won’t miss his annual holiday in the season!!
Mcgoldrick out for the season? on 23:15 - Feb 21 with 3333 views | JakeITFC | A season ending injury for an injury-prone player looking for new employment elsewhere is probably the one thing he wouldn’t want, no?
Mcgoldrick out for the season? on 23:18 - Feb 21 with 3313 views | Swansea_Blue | He won't be faking it; he couldn't with that sort of injury. If you've ever torn or teared a muscle it's dead easy to spot and for a physio to find. I think we need to move on from McG anyhow. He can be technically very good, but is so inconsistent and misses chunks of seasons regularly. Not really delivered up to his hype imo. Not that it'll necessarily be easy to replace him. We need a new broom with some fresh ideas and interesting curve ball signings.

Mcgoldrick out for the season? on 08:33 - Feb 22 with 3005 views | hampstead_blue | Cannot agree. Some people's physical bodies cannot manage the stress and strain their minds can deliver. Being willing to push yourself past your physical breaking point is admirable. It's a shame that he is fragile but hardly his fault! I feel for the chap. He's done us proud and deserves another club/contract.
| Assumption is to make an ass out of you and me.
Those who assume they know you, when they don't are just guessing.
Those who assume and insist they know are daft and in denial.
Those who assume, insist, and deny the truth are plain stupid.
Those who assume, insist, deny the truth and tell YOU they know you (when they don't) have an IQ in the range of 35-49.

Probably all done in Photoshop... Having said that, it is unfortunate that once again he's out for a lengthy spell in the second half of the season. I made this comment on the News section in response to the News story about him missing the Burton game, but didn't know at the time how near to reality it was... "hoppy added 17:22 - Feb 9 I was expecting that to read... “Didzy’s got another post transfer window trauma problem in his leg, but he was pretty optimistic that it’s going to be better in time for pre-season training, whether that's here or elsewhere” manager Mick McCarthy said."
