Not really many counter-arguments here that venture further than "it's crap" "it's stupid". The only one I can see is that makes a point is that banners per se are childish. Fair point, I certainly wouldn't make one, but virtually everyone is unhappy with the situation whether they blame Evans, McCarthy or both, but no-one is really doing anything in the form of protest, other than not turning up and the odd boo, at least the guy stuck his neck out and had a go. | |

Banner boy and statman are more interested in themselves than the club. They post disgraceful rubbish to collect likes and it has been responsible in turning the armchair fans against the club. The swell of that has then leaked to other fans and created rifts. Football doesn't need self centred attention whores that put likes and followers before the club.

Absolutely spot on, ok last nights first half performance was better, but why are people not baying for blood cos they certainly would be if it was Leeds or West Ham. The malaise is so bad i'm surprised we don't bottle it for sale!

If it was just boring stats it would be ok but sadly it is an agenda based on roy keane that has now progressed to pathetic likes similar to a child YouTuber. The rifts come from there.

A lot of people can see the problems, and are annoyed by the lack of direction, and indeed, real ambition being shown from the club. The thing with this was that it was an act of attention-seeking from a group of people who constantly slag off Mick and are big culprits of twisting whatever he says/does into a negative to have a moan.
They then came on here expecting to be welcomed like heroes, mistakenly believing that they were the only ones unhappy with the situation and thinking that waving about a sh1tty banner made them more 'passionate' fans who 'cared more' than other people.
Scuttling back to Twitter complaining about the 'soft cnts' or whatever it is they say about this site to have a big circlejerk about what top 'fans' and 'lads' they are was equally pathetic.
It did lead to a couple of fantastic threads which were kickstarted when someone's alt 'funny' account threatened to hit banner boy, mind. [Post edited 22 Feb 2018 21:31]
