A very good gesture by the club. I just can't imagine what is like to be a rough sleeper in this weather. It's all to easy to dismiss people as wasters, it just takes a few wrong decisions along the way, it could be any of us. |  | | |

Wrong decisions and bad luck. I learned of a bloke who had a PhD and 2 degrees, respectable job, his wife got terminally ill and passed away and it effected his mental health in ways that I guess you only find out in those situation. Turned to drink, then to drugs. Became homeless. Was found dead under a railway bridge with a needle in his arm. |  |

I also saw on the news yesterday that a businessman had paid for hotels rooms for 12 homeless people.
What ever the reason people end up on the streets nobody should be spending the night out in that weather. [Post edited 3 Mar 2018 15:50]
