One chap at my old firm had to monitor all photos sent via our app. Sometimes he looked like a shell of a man, at other times he looked very excited indeed and had to excuse himself. |  |

Senior female manager I worked with once had to prepare for the disciplinary interview with somebody who'd been surfing porn at work. She'd been sent a huge printout of all the images he'd viewed, and she was required to view a sample at random to be clear about the evidence.
It was gay porn.
She'd already viewed some when the chap involved resigned.
(They usually do that, apparently, in an attempt to avoid a damning reference. What they get is a reference that includes the statement that they were subject to a disciplinary process for gross misconduct) | |

I'm regularly getting emails regarding tax refunds due. They keep the figures believable at around £252.15. They bombard these out every Jan and April to coincide with government tax dates. I'm pretty clued up on my accounts but there must be loads who would think it's from Inland Revenue.
My in-law got one last year. I told him it was a scam email but he didn't fully believe me until he got a second opinion from someone else on his holiday home caravan sight. People like the idea of a refund. |  | | |
