Why would they want him anyway? He is more injured than not!

He’s been homesick for Nottingham for about 3 years, apparently

In the age of digital media and with a footballer's disposable income, i find the notion of homesickness 2 hours down the road a bit pathetic.

That is true, but flights to and from Glasgow to East Midlands are pretty frequent everyday and only take about an hour.. Not exactly going to any longer to get to and from Glasgow than it is to Ipswich, plus he would be winning some silverware and have a chance to play in Europe. That said, I can't see Rodgers wanting him (as said already) he doesn't fit into the system they currently use, so that would be the biggest reason to question the link

Bit of silverware, express himself more against worse opposition, heavy pay day to end his career. can certainly see it.

As do I, it’s lunacy. Considering whenever we play away from home the players are given Sunday,Monday off and allowed to stay in the area in which we’ve played. That’s away games against derby, forest, burton, both Sheffield clubs, etc etc where he can be “home in 20/30 mins.
David McGoldrick. on 16:35 - Mar 23 with 5628 views | poppiesman | McGoldrick could easily play in Scotland even when injured. When one of the best players up there is apparently Scott Brown, I think most of us on here could do well playing in the SPL!!
