The Snip 07:50 - Mar 29 with 7031 viewsTerra_Farma

So, had the snip on Tuesday after posting a couple of months ago to see if any of you had it done and to find out your experiences.

It isn’t exactly fun and your dignity goes out of the window, but it is over within 20 minutes. I do have balls like coconuts (same colour as well). But, it isn’t to bad at all.

So, if any of you are considering it, go for it, it’s reasonably pain free!!

Contemplating my first post op tug (will keep you posted)

How do I book in? Do I have to go to a gp? Can I have it done private?

Speak to you gp first and they'll discuss it with you and then refer you to the minor surgery unit to an appointment.

All done and dusted.

Took longer than it should have as I have "thick tubes" apparently. And there wasn't a lot of room either. Took about 30 mins though. BUT the actual procedure is pretty much pain free. A bit uncomfortable and just, well a bit weird!

Glad all went well.

A quick update from my original post......

First post op tug on day 4 went well, same volume, consistency ! BUT,

I was fine for 10 days then discovered a lump in the right hand side of my scrotum which doesn't appear to be attached to my testicle (it's roughly the size and shape of a marble).....then on Monday morning whilst having a shower I discovered another lump just above my left testicle................ (slightly smaller about the size of a pea).

Both "lumps" are pretty tender.

Went to the quacks yesterday and he has referred me for an ultrasound to establish what is going on.

I am fairly relaxed about it as the "lumps" appeared post op.

Ultrasound is this Saturday.

I'm not trying to scare you, just being honest about my experience 3 weeks in.

Has anyone else had a similar experience?

For those that are interested, i will update you post ultrasound.

Peace.

Maybe the surgeon lost a ring?

Pronouns: He/Him/His. "Imagine being a heterosexual white male in Britain at this moment. How bad is that. Everything you say is racist, everything you say is homophobic. The Woke community have really f****d this country."

I've had my first post op tug already. Was off work and an empty house so...

Anyway, sounds like your lumps are a fairly common post op issue. Might just be a bit of bleeding that's clotted.

Fingers crossed! I await your update with interest!
