The Snip 07:50 - Mar 29 with 4373 viewsTerra_Farma

So, had the snip on Tuesday after posting a couple of months ago to see if any of you had it done and to find out your experiences.

It isn’t exactly fun and your dignity goes out of the window, but it is over within 20 minutes. I do have balls like coconuts (same colour as well). But, it isn’t to bad at all.

So, if any of you are considering it, go for it, it’s reasonably pain free!!

Contemplating my first post op tug (will keep you posted)

I liked it so much I had it done twice*

It wasn't really that I liked it, just that my boys were so tough that they just could not be stopped.

In the 38 games in which ALB played in goal for us, we averaged 1.53 points per game which, had they been over the course of a single season, would have seen us challenging for the play offs. This at a time when we were otherwise struggling against relegation. Oh, and didn't Mick Mills have terrific posture.

I had to take my faithful old Jack Russell to have his nuts off.
When we got home I decided to stay with him over night so laid on the sofa and put his bed in the living room.
He stood right in front of the sofa and stared at me all night. Every time I opened my eyes he was there staring.
I felt a real bas*#*#.

I had it done last month and two/three days afterwards I was thinking this is easy!!

Then the general wore off and having done too much (walking and general light lifting around the house) the pain came in and it took another good week to get over it.

I'm all good now and you might not have the same as I did but I would say just be careful (particularly tugging 😂) and keep wearing the support for at least a week as I thought I'm all good now and had a day without it!! Doh!!

I'm surprised. When I had it, I was expecting all that, but it didn't really affect me apart from a little bit tender for a couple of days. It was no skin off my nose.

Nothing to do with pain, just the 'bloke' thing.
