Mark Warburton 12:38 - Apr 3 with 2667 views | Marshalls_Mullet | I'm not saying he should be our new manager, but a few people have posted remarks suggesting he's got a poor record, based on his last 2 sackings. His record is; Brentford 13/14 - League Position - 2nd in League 1, promoted. Brentford 14/15 - League Position - 5th in Championship, play-offs. Best home record in the league. Rangers - 14/15 - League Position - 1st in Scottish Championship. Winner of Scottish Challenge Cup. Runners Up in Scottish FA Cup. Rangers - 15/16 - League Position - 3rd at time of sacking. Forest - 17/18 - League Position - 14th at time of sacking. He's not exactly Paul Jewell!!

Warburton wasn't sacked by Brentford. It was at the same time that their owner wanted to implement their moneyball system for transfers the following summer (Basically telling Warburton that were he to stay, he would have no say in transfers going forward). That was, I understand, the main reason that Warburton chose to leave them.

Mark Warburton on 14:45 - Apr 3 with 2250 views | BullardsMagicMullet | I wouldn't mind Warburton, he would be a good fit. Promotes good football and bringing the academy players through with a good eye for a player. We wouldn't have to buy him out of a contract. But knowing Evans we would end up with Kingsmill.

Rangers are ridiculous. Having fired Warburton for Caixhinha, hired Murty and spent tonnes more money in-between, they have gone full circle and still nowhere further forward than when they fired Warburton. They were incredibly naive to think they were going to walk back in the SPL and take it back. Also, the man who runs Olympiakos is also the Nottingham Forest owner. For anyone who may wonder why Warburton's stint there was so short, here's an example why: http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/amp/football/43623626 [Post edited 3 Apr 2018 19:25]

Mark Warburton on 19:32 - Apr 3 with 2060 views | Superfrans | I think its really interesting that Mowbray, Steijn and Warburton are way out ahead in my poll for the fans’ choice, with Cook just a little way behind. Of course, its only a poll, but 140 votes is pretty substantial. It suggests that Mowbray is the emotional choice, Steijn the left-field choice, Warburton the choice if you wanted someone who was immediately available. The worrying thing is that there is no single unifying choice, with even the most popular choices attracting little more than one-fifth of the fanbase.
