I would put Bart in charge for the last few games as player manager. He's our best player by a mile, can see the game from his position in goal and we want him to stay so the show of faith might encourage him to sign a new contract. If he does well could make it a permanent arrangement.

I fully agree with this, Bart wins several points for us a season through being a quality goal keeper and am sure this could transfer into management. Unlike Moron Mick he won't slate the fans/ treat them like S**t and anything we can do so Bart stays should be encouraged.
Am concerned if we don't give him a good reason to stay he will end up at West Brom with Mick and Jonas.

I appreciate it is a bit of a radical step but what have we got to lose? If it is a disaster over these four games then continue the manager search, if he does well then result.

Now Moron Mick has left the club no doubt there will be an increased turnout for the upcoming Villa match as people toast the end of his regime.
I think this would be an ideal opportunity for the home crowd to show the club that Bart is the best candidate for manager next season . We have taken a big risk not placing him in interim charge however we can rectify this by offering a full time role come the end of the season.#Bartin [Post edited 12 Apr 2018 13:51]

Not only does he have the backing of the dressing room but Bart also won the Ultimate Supporters player of the year award which means the fans that matter are also backing him even if the keyboard warriors are not.
Let us also consider the fact he won the Corporate Customers, Sponsors and Box Holders' player of the year award. At a club which is cost obsessed I think a manager backed by some of our major financial contributors is a must, this would lead to increased investment and in turn money we can spend on improving the pitch / in ground catering options.
