4 games remaining

I predict they will win pretty much all of those & stay up.

Going down will be Stoke, Southampton & *drum roll* Swansea or Palace on GD.

And then we still appoint Alan Pardew

That would only give them 33 points, The Terriers have 35 already! WBA will need to win all 4 of their games to stand any chance. Can’t see it really. Think they’ll get drummed by Liverpool and that will be the final nail in their coffin!

Sorry. Just edited.

Palace or Swansea that should have been.

The relegation battle is certainly going to be interesting, but think it will be the three that are already there: WBA, Stoke and Southampton

Think Norwich won the relation battle many moons a go. Won it so often in fact that they get to keep the trophy.

Southampton have had numerous chances to pull themselves out of danger & they've fluffed things up every time. Losing 3-2 against Arsenal summed it all up.

A Stoke defeat tonight will be them done for. That GD!

Swansea have just taken their foot off the pedal ever so slightly.

Think Swansea have 3 of their last 5 games at home too - might be wrong there, but sure I read it somewhere.

This isn't going to happen.

West Brom would need to take 10 points from 4 games including Liverpool and Spurs to have a chance of relegating Palace. They go to Palace on the final day

Palace would need to lose 4/4. Swansea would need to lose 5/5 and West Brom would need to win 3/4 to relegate Swansea. It's not going to happen.

West Brom are down.

Truly impaired.

I don’t think there’s going to be interesting about the top flight for the end of the season. Champions, top four, bottom three all done and dusted with two or three to spare.

Sky will big up the battle for ninth place on the last day and simulcast the Everton and Newcastle games.

Just depends whether Stoke or Southampton can string a couple of wins together, if they do it will make it an interesting battle. At the moment, it just appears unlikely but not impossible.

Liverpool will be resting players before the Roma match. They'll nick something.
Then they will beat Newcastle, Spurs & Palace.

#Believe

What's the odds on them staying-up per chance?
Bet365 have them 100/1 to stay up.

EDIT: Oh dear. Ive only just noticed Swansea have to play Stoke AND Southampton.
Doesn't give WBA much space for mistakes.

So they need 4 wins to be safe then.

Hmm. Would prefer WBA - to replace Wolves disappearing upwards and Brum possibly down for those of us within striking range of the West Midlands.

Good Lord! Whatever is it?

They also screwed themselves against Chelsea at the weekend too.

That type of result and the manner of it won’t fill the Saints squad with confidence they can escape the drop!

Think that’s right. A 5 point gap at this stage of the season is pretty significant.

The idea that WBA will win their next 4 games when they’ve only won 4 of the last 34 is optimistic to say the least!

They have Liverpool, Newcastle, Spurs and Palace, you can maybe see them getting something from Newcastle and Palace but that won't be enough to keep them up.

My apologies. I remember Giroud scoring (twice wasn't it?) & still picture him as an Arsenal player.

But yeah, Arsenal and Chelsea both beat them 3-2. Both games they should have picked up points.
