I would welcome it. It would be exciting, and I welcome our club being centre stage. Let's go for it baby.

I'd prefer Warburton or Mowbray and would see Gerrard as a total leap in the dark. He might be great, he might be hopeless, but I'd more than settle for him being Keeganesque. I think Lampard comes across as the better communicator and deeper thinker of the two of them, personally, and my gut feeling is that he will be the one to have a decent career as a manager.

Lamps also has a freakishly high IQ. For what it’s worth.

And got loads of A grades in his exams too, I think. Intelligence is an asset, of course, unless it creates a gap between the manager and the players. Emotional intelligence, the ability to read people and understand what makes them tick, is more important. eg Roy Keane comes across as intelligent to me, but his emotional intelligence (and self-care) is maybe significantly less developed.

Stevie G on 23:47 - Apr 18 with 6138 views | Jimmy86 | I posted in another thread and said out of the 2 of them I could see Lampard be appointed over Gerrard. Reason being Harry, who is 1 of ME's trusted football friends could act as an advisor/consultant upstairs, or a director of football. The ITFC job would be a great start for either Stevie G or Lamps, as they would be given time and would receive no interference from ME. I would prefer Warburton or Mowbray, but wouldn't be disappointed with either Gerrard or Lampard

Ipswich docks, Albert dock Ipswich birds, liver bird Basically the same place, he wouldn’t even know the difference I’m pretty excited by this, Liverpool (although I don’t really like them) always says to me ‘football’

No airport though; no cathedral; no rain to speak of. Do you think he'd put up a huge sign saying "This is Portman Road"? --- Though being us, we'd probably have to put up another on round the back saying "This is Constantine Road".

Depends on choice of music on if I’d care or not though
