That was a farce wasn't it. I did a half marathon in 2016 where I didn't stop for any drinks because I was trying to beat my personal best and didn't want to slow down. Bloody silly really. | |

The pace makers were really p1ssing me off. Mainly because I don't understand them at all. Seems to detract greatly from the spectacle. I have no real interest in long distance running so this may be the norm in all races but I really didn't like it. | | | |
