I appreciate I am an old ridiculous and stupid man so this is not for me anyway but I saw the Inbetweeners movie and it was a direct rip off more or less of Kevin and Perry Go Large. Nothing new under the sun of course.

Also i have never understood why TV producers get middle aged men to play teenagers.

In the spirit of reconciliation and happiness at the end of the Banter Era (RIP) and as a result of promotion I have cleared out my ignore list. Look forwards to reading your posts!

The film's were a bit disappointing compared to the tv and I think that Kevin and Perry was actually better.

The tv series is still absolute class

Films were not as good as the series.. In fact I think the Series went slightly downhill after the first one. That said it was a pretty high starting point and the rest was still entertaining.

Being 17/18 at the time and having 3 other really good mates who I spent most of my time with it seemed pretty close to home in some of the story lines and not much will epitomise my late teenage years (along with millions of others) like that 1st series of the Inbetweeners

Inbetweeners is superb, up there with The Office as my favourite comedy of all time.

Every episode is a classic, and brilliantly done - it never won't be funny

Benters doesn’t do explanations.

Mere mortal heads would explode if they tried to understand the Wisdom of Benters.

A Benters statement just is.

Never seen the film or a single episode of it, or The Office come to think of it.

I'd never watched Peep Show till last month and Inbetweeners is my favourite comedy. I think the characters of Mark and Will are very similar.

That thread appears to have been blocked now by twitter so the guys made it as a moments if you scroll down.

The pisstakin squirrel was one of many highlights of the thread for me. Very funny.

I was late to the party with the Inbetweeners, so I actually started with the first film as a mate suggested we go and watch it.

Then I ordered the box-set of all the series and watched them all in the space of a week or two.
Very good stuff, but by the end of the third series, the jokes became a bit predictable and repetitive.... my fault for watching so many episodes in such a short space of time I guess.

As for The Office (mentioned by Joe), I have never seen a more unfunny programme in my life. Don't get David Brent / Ricky Gervais in the slightest.
