If you think that we've been playing much of the second half of our season without Huws, McGoldrick and Garner and have thrown in loads of teenagers towards the end, it says a lot about how poor they have been this campaign despite having plenty of funds last summer that they've finished below us.

The 5 or 6 million that ME puts in every year is just enough to keep the club ticking over in mid table mediocrity. Unless the budgies can find a buyer, another source of cash or get a promotion against the odds Delia will be bust within 4 or 5 years.

I cannot see Klose or Maddison (once back from his injury) hanging around if offers come in for them. Those two would easily get into most teams in our division, but the rest of their squad is now bang average. Their other top assets have been moved on and replaced by very questionable signings made by Farke who have clearly flopped.
Without major investment, they are largely going the same way as us (if not worse). They have big problems next season. [Post edited 7 May 2018 0:42]

I’m not quite sure they have a decent youth set up and they also have over 20000 season ticket holders yes no parachute payments will hurt them but by no means are they going to be in trouble.
Plus I expect maybe there share holders might dip into their pockets. |  | | |
