Have we created a trend? 18:47 - May 17 with 1172 viewsMelford

Moyes and Allardyce moved on even though you could put your house on neither West Ham or Everton would have been in any relegation trouble with them in charge. Both solid, steady managers who have been binned because the fans demand a better style of football.

West Ham already hounded Sam out for that a few years back. I don't think we created the trend.

I like where English football is starting to go.

We’re finally catching up with other countries where the style of play is equally as important as the results.

If you watch any Bundesliga games it’s refreshing to see both teams playing attacking football regardless of who they’re playing.

Hopefully the ancient merry go round managers will be flushed out within the next few years and more teams start taking a punt on young, adventurous managers.

Today's Totally Football Podcast is well worth a listen. In-depth discussion about both managers.
Fat Sam, deservedly getting some clog....chippy sniping against the fans, virtually the same stats as Unsworth's time in charge, a total refusal to at least try to 'play' football & generally looking like a bit of a tit with the whole Lookman affair.

Moyes, boldly asked the West Ham board that he wanted 100% control on all transfers. Which, after the Sunderland shambles, was never ever going to happen.

So what happens if ALL the clubs in a league decide to play the game the right way?

Ah yes, ££££ dictates pretty much what happens in that league.........!
