It's time to go Back to the Future! 08:37 - May 24 with 563 viewsPendejo

Forget all this new manager malarkey. What football needs now is a reboot of the committee format.

Give person committee formed of 4 season ticket holders, one from each stand plus a.n. other who chairs the committee.

They meet the day (or 2 days) before every game and mull over reports from training, previous match, injury situation and intelligence report on opposition before selecting team. Then it's down to the captain to direct the players in the pitch.

Committee is not paid, other than travel expenses ancillary costs associated with attending every game. Saved the club, err ME £250k.

Coaching is then down to Klug & his team. They also liaise with scouts for signings and contacts are Milne's responsibility.

And when they win the League, and then the Prem, and then the Champions League, and become England's most successful Manager, err, committee, of the 21st Century- we'd have to build FOUR more statues...

Have you seen the price of bronze? And where would we put them? Split them up and put each one by their own stand? Or put them all together and snub three stands? Logistical nightmare! You really haven't thought this through...
