We signed him from Wrexham, if I recall correctly. He didnt' set the world alight and don't think he played that many games for us - but I'm sure he was the first. Johnny Miller might of course have been in the youth team when Stacey was signed - but hadn't made his debut? |  | | |

I remember Steve Stacey quite clearly.
He was tall and rangy, played wing half - much like the sort of position Matt Holland had. He was injured badly in something like his third game, I seem to remember it happened somewhere near the dugouts, right in front of me. I think that he never payed again for Town. |  |
