What are your thoughts on a big screen at Portman road? Most other clubs have them, and I suppose it's a way of updating the stadium. I'm not saying get a spinning one the strange lot across the border, just a standard one. If we were to do it, would surely be put between the saf and cob old stands to replace the score board thier. Would sort of cover up the gap between the stands.
I don't know, maybe I'm struggling with the lack of football atm.

That's the best argument for them - another source of commercial revenue (can't imagine it'd be much, but I suppose it all helps). I don't think they offer anything to the supporters though, not how they are currently used. Now, if they were able to screen the matches over them so you could get close-ups of the action, decent replays and link them into the video referee experiment, then we'd be getting somewhere. As it stand though they're just stupidly expensive advertising boards. | |

Sitting in the lower north stand I quite often go home not having a clue how a goal is scored down the opposite end, so If it could at least show replays of the goals it would be worth it. |  | | |
