I pre ordered the digital download of the Bobby Robson film and got the message below the other day. Wondered if anyone else had the same issue?
Dear Customer,
We are so sorry to have to tell you that we are experiencing issues with our ability to send out the digital file of the “Bobby Robson: More Than A Manager” film, next Friday 1st June.
This has been caused by technical problems outside of our control - and we are very sorry for this.
There are a few options:
1) We can arrange a full refund on your purchase of the film.
2) We can provide you with a copy of the film via any other platform where the film will be available - iTunes, Google Play, Amazon Download - and as a gesture of our apology, we would also send you an A4 version of the film poster signed by the Directors.
Please let us know by Wednesday 30th May at the latest, which option you would prefer.
If you have purchased the film as part of a Bundle, we will still provide the other elements that you purchased.
If we don’t hear back from you by 30th May, I am afraid that we will have to assume Option 1 and ensure that you get a full refund of the film.
We are sorry again for any inconvenience caused.

Suspect this may be because of limited take-up. It would be hard to justify continuing to maintain the downloading infrastructure and ongoing upkeep if they've only sold a few dozen on download. The best approach to these things is to let the experts handle this kind of business - redemption through iTunes, Amazon etc... Shame though. |  |
