He has been the head of the PL since '99 and when he started they were getting £670m in TV revenue and now it is over £4.5bn. He's also managed to keep it relatively equitable and far more so than any other major football league.
He's done a brilliant job for the Premier League, and whilst Sky might have been who grew it initially they aren't any more the drivers for all the other TV deals being signed both domestically and internationally |  |

It will be interesting to see what Sky and/or the PL do if City start to run away with it again. Looks like they'll sign Mahrez and are already in for a couple of others, so next season they'll have even more depth.
