Manager bonuses 10:14 - Jun 15 with 929 views

No doubt managers have a wide range of incentive bonuses based on wins, final table position etc. I wondered if they might have any based on home attendances ? It might help with ME's stated intention of having entertaining foootball, and also encourage the manager, while not kow-towing to popularism, not to deliberately antagonise the paying public.

You could equally argue that the team's results are not all about the managers performance as well.

Not quite sure what a bonus has to do with blame & moaning ?

Because making it part of his remit implies he's responsible and/or culpable if attendances don't pick up.
