What's the correct terminology of someone who stays away from a team that they supposedly support because things aren't working out how THEY want?
Glory hunters might well be inaccurate, how about:
Bedwetters?
The easily led?
Simpleton Farmhands?
Or, simply, change your status from 'supporter' to 'follower'. |
How about people just find that life changes and they don't have the same priorities as before. Look at the high streets, shops closed everywhere, pubs closing on a daily basis.
Why the need for insulting names? If I no longer live in the area, am I no longer a "supporter"?
Football is changing every year, it is becoming more hi tech, whether we like it or not, it is becoming all about entertainment and there has been very little of this over the last decade. If people decide to come back and watch, great, hopefully they will stick around and Town can build their fanbase, it has to be a better way forward than silly name calling. |  | | |
