I'll settle for over 20,000, the more the merrier. Make it happen folks beg, bully, cajole and encourage the lapsed fans to go to show the new manager the potential. My oldest daughter, her boyfriend, my oldest son & myself will all be there. COYB!

About 18,500..... on 13:45 - Jun 21 with 5340 views | Bloots | ....the gloryhunters that didn't bother last season won't have jumped on the bandwagon that early in the season. Of course if we don't win 5-0 the next home game will be down to 17,000. If we win convincingly then we might get 20,000 for the Villa match.

Attendance at home to Blackburn on Sat Aug 4th? (n/t) on 14:11 - Jun 21 with 5287 views | xrayspecs | 16,000 Holiday season, few away fans. EDIT: Also think disaffected Town fans will need to be persuaded the football is better / more enjoyable under Hurst than simply coming back because it is not MM. [Post edited 21 Jun 2018 14:21]

I didn't realise we had glory hunters at Ipswich. I am surprised that they would only have stopped attending last season. If they have been watching us in the Championship for the previous fifteen years, then they must be the most patient glory hunters ever.

What's the correct terminology of someone who stays away from a team that they supposedly support because things aren't working out how THEY want? Glory hunters might well be inaccurate, how about: Bedwetters? The easily led? Simpleton Farmhands? Or, simply, change your status from 'supporter' to 'follower'.
