With the new season less than a month away it is beginning to look as if all of the talk of players being integrated early was more hype! So far this window the new signing have been a loan , unlikely to be able to play 46 games , and a pot luck winger, who , from his record is unlikely to be up to the standard required . If the club are really serious regarding going for promotion , or even a play -off place , there needs to be a lot more effort put into recruitment of players of the required standard ! Without some serious movement in this direction I fear it is going to be a very long and worrying one. |  |

Perhaps he's had them a couple of weeks and with a few returned from injury thinks "I think we can do really well with what i've got, we'll see how it's going come January"

It's a little worrying that we've gone backwards from last season but there's still plenty of time. Things will get moving in the next few weeks.

If it's any help, Swansea over here haven't even started getting rid of their big earners, let alone getting their Championship squad together. So at least one team will be worse prepared than us. |  |
