Going to disagree somewhat.
Sure, very good first half. Maybe our half of the tournament infact........ nullified a Croatia side very well.
Second half - didn't know whether to stick or twist.
Soon as they made it 1-1, their midfield pulled our pants down until 90 mins.
Got it together first half of extra time - then had to go for it.
Won't have a better chance to make a world cup final - blown it vs ageing Croatia who had played extra time both games prior.
Italia 90 / Euro 96 is open to opinion. However, both times up against a very decent German side.
This Croatian side not bad but midfield heavy / ropy backline / quite old.
