And there are so many positives.

The one negative though is the explosion in the new trend of beer throwing. Just drink it FFS. I hope this doesn't continue into the championship and we all get drenched in coca cola when we score.

I'll extend the negative further although (mainly) in a jocular manner.

1. The general lawlessness and above the law type thinking following England's wins.
2. People turning up to work in full England kit or a waistcoat to "show our support"
3. Faux support from people (mainly women) who show absolutely no interest in the game normally.
4. An extension to 3 but having to talk football with people who you don't normally as they've never expressed an interest previously. "I think Southgate should drop....etc, etc".
5. Car Flags - especially the ones with ENGLAND written on them. Surely a flag is there to define the country simply by looking at it. There's no need for the word ENGLAND.

Please note: prior to hitting the post button, I've double checked for anything that could be construed as "Anti Semitic" and to the best of my knowledge it isn't. Anything deemed to be of a Xenophobic nature is therefore purely accidental or down to your own misconstruing.

Bloke behind me in the Fanzone last night literally poured a whole pint down my back when we scored. It was soaked and now I have a chill on my back.

You need to be careful at your age. Select your viewing area away from the young uns. Have you considered a move to the cobbold stand?

I can understand it if the goal is from open play & you haven’t had chance to put your beer down & you lose yourself in celebration.

However when Trippier was lining up his free kick last night surely you’d have put your beer down?

People were clearly wanting to throw them. They must have bought a beer at the start and deliberately not drunk any. It is just weird.

Two negatives actually.

Robbie Williams appearing at the opening ceremony. Having that fat karaoke singer there was a fooking disgrace.

Pronouns: He/Him/His. "Imagine being a heterosexual white male in Britain at this moment. How bad is that. Everything you say is racist, everything you say is homophobic. The Woke community have really f****d this country."

Right at the front, there was a fenced off bit for families / disabled etc.... my daughter went in there with my mate and his son and we stood less than 5 yards behind the fence they then sat in front of.

Still didn't stop me getting a golden shower of beer.

As for the bovril, I quite often have one at half-time in the colder matches in the winter.

I for one cannot wait for the proper football to come back, for the weather to get chilly, and for us all to get back to our usual business of being miserable and moaning about Evans' transfer/fiscal policies. I've had enough of the world cup now.

In the spirit of reconciliation and happiness at the end of the Banter Era (RIP) and as a result of promotion I have cleared out my ignore list. Look forwards to reading your posts!

The trouble is you don't know if it's beer or p1ss.

At least at a festival you know it's p1ss.

There's a certain element that do it at some of the bigger away games as well.

People like you make me sick.

Your argument is clearly flawed, yet you continue to flaunt your outdated opinion for all to see.
One day you Bovril drinkers will see the light and show remorse for your evil ways.
Until then, the pure unadulterated filth of your ideology is tainting this world of ours.

Or, some start chucking beer around in the pub before the game e.g. The Moon Under Water, Watford.
