England 5-0 at half time was the one for me. With Fat Pint Of Wine , the first game would have been a 1-1 draw, the second would have been a 2 or 3-0 win and we would have had to put a full strength team against Belgium who would have lost and out against Columbia in normal time or penalties, hoping a half-fit Jack Wilshere can come on and save us. That first half showed things were different, we just kept going at them and ripped them apart. Not seen us really go like that internationally before, shackles off. |  |
