Aside from sounding a bit too much like a market town in the badlands of the border area, he always impressed me watching Shrewsbury last season. I only saw him play left back but he looked very comfortable on the ball and able to bring it out of defence, decent turn of pace too. Would be a good signing to play in his preferred position potentially, whilst also offering good cover at full back too.
I take it you missed the play off final? He was woeful, constantly playing everyone on side whilst the rest of the defensive unit was pushing up etc.

Well yeah, I watched more than just the play off final for sure. It's silly to judge him on one game where the whole team had the look of a 62 game season catching up with them.

I watched Shrewsbury a number of times as they were on Sky often. The Blackburn away game, Wigan game, the three playoff games. He was very good. In the final he just looked shattered as did most of them in the heat after a 50 odd game season. I watched Paul Pogba several times for Man Utd last season and he was utter pony. Doesn't mean a thing.

....getting another body in and he'd offer a bit of versatility.
But I think he's the wrong Shrewsbury defender personally.
Prefer Nsiala.
Nsiala also looks good, I'd be happy with either to be fair. Agree though that Nsiala is probably a bit better, just whether he is affordable as he's got that bit more profile and pedigree.

....he's probably out of our price range.

Well, I like Beccles. It's a lovely little town.
Shame about the demise of the world's best cake shop which was on the main road up from the river when I first went there. The owner/cook will have long gone to the great cake shop in the sky.
