This year the Transfer Window closes on Thursday August 9th at 5pm.
The loan window closes on August 31st.
Unregistered players must be signed by August 31st or they will be ineligible to play before January 1st. |  |

The last bit surprises me. A player without a club unless they are registered before the end of August will be unavailable until the next window? That is a significant change that takes the power away from some of the mediocre players that run their contracts down. |  |
