At the very least we seem to be protecting him to make sure he doesn't pick up an injury now - guess talks may be advanced and it's looking likely that he'll go. | |

Was he named on the bench both times simply to lessen speculation? Seems odd.

Honestly it feels like a come and get him plea.
Really odd unless a deal is either very close or Hurst and Evans have some sort of master plan for the cash...Hurst I could trust. Evans...my faith is wavering but as i've said in other threads, we need to give him the full window before judging. |  |

It would suggest that a deal is probably done. Most likely we are holding it back so we can get a striker in first so we don't pay over the odds if we net £8 Million. We cannot hold any grudges as it is fantastic business to buy a player for £200k and sell them for that big figure. If we can get a load of new faces in then we could be in for an exciting season.
