Unless we get someone in on loan i agree with your point, we need a proven goalscorer at this level. Garner would have been ideal as a plan B IMO, very disappointed he's gone. | | | |

I have only seen one of the two games so far, and even if I’d seen both, 2 games isn’t enough to know... several of our new boys have only had a handful of training sessions together... surely it’s a bit soon to be panicking, isn’t it? |  |

Problem is Hoppy who we’ve played in those two games - Blackburn and Rotherham. If it had been Stoke City and Middlesboro’ I believe the reaction would be of less concern. For me, we have a squad that lacks proven Championship experience and quality and are banking our hopes on a lot of our new signings to come good, which they all won’t, while completely getting rid of our talented youngsters on loan! Still early days I know, but I’m already thinking this season is going to be an extremely tough one. | |

Yes, tho there may need to be some tactical adjustment (e.g. more link-up, or playing two strikers together).
That's not really relevant until January. Any loan players are more likely to be young Prem prospects than experienced Championship operators. |  |
