Trains London - Ipswich 17:31 - Aug 13 with 1312 viewsglasso

Hi everyone. Got my derby tickets but just like last year, the trains are a shower of sh!te so would need to get a 1hr 30 min bus from Ingatestone to Ipswich. Means leaving the house at 7am to get to the game on time!

Is there another, roundabout way of getting there via somewhere else that might be better than that route? I drove last time round but really fancy a drink this year!

Nope. That's it.

It's either a ridiculous train + bus combo, or you drive. Crazy.

It's a bloody joke, innit? I presumed it was just bad luck last year, but it seems to be a regular thing.

I reckon we'd squeeze 60,000 into Portman Road if the trains worked. Right guys? RIGHT?

It's been like this for 30 years, on and off... Totally ridiculous.
