This may come back to haunt me but... 13:19 - Aug 20 with 1574 views | TractorBoyOlly | ...The next 2 games is a fantastic opportunity to improve our position and shoot up the table so that we are on the fringes of the top 6 heading into the Norwich game. Derby ARE beatable and Wednesday are woeful at present whilst I think we are starting to click into gear. COYB!

This may come back to haunt me but... on 13:24 - Aug 20 with 1544 views | Herbivore | It's the Championship so anything could happen really. That said, now looks a good time to play Derby after back to back defeats and seemingly not clicking yet. We need a fast start but if we get that we could get a good result. Wednesday look like a side who could be in trouble and that's a winnable game, however they've got some quality in their side still and our last two away performances haven't been great. I'd not be surprised if we took 6 points but it wouldn't be a shock if we came away with no points either.

This may come back to haunt me but... on 13:28 - Aug 20 with 1530 views | Darth_Koont | Yes, it looks a great time to play them. It's the Championship as well. There's only ever a couple of sides in this league at any one time who look particularly difficult to beat and that normally changes during the season too. So the other side of the coin is that we look a great side to play too as we've only got 2 points from 3.

Therefore we may be underestimated. I also think we'll get a CB in before Saturday.

I also think somewhere between 0 and 6 points is likely. Def info.

This may come back to haunt me but... on 14:03 - Aug 20 with 1419 views | WarkTheWarkITFC | The Championship largely strikes me as almost rock, paper, scissors in these early parts of the season. In the Premier League a team like Liverpool or Arsenal is far more likely to get 6 points than 0 points from any two fixtures, but with the majority of clubs at our level you wouldn't bat an eyelid if a team got 6 points or 0 points from two matches. It's that even. After these matches we have Norwich and Hull, who are both down there. 3 away games and our bogey side at home, whilst still gelling. You could make as much of a case for getting 2 points and getting 10 points. Tomorrow could be the night Derby and all of its talent clicks or it could be another night where his naivity shows against a very cunning manager who has made a living from stopping and beating bigger clubs with greater resources. How nice it is though to go into matches believing we have a chance and actually caring about the outcome, instead of it just being some possible points on the journey to the land between good excitement and bad excitement.

And to think it could so easily have been the other way round. Evans could have gambled and gone for Lampard and splurged millions but instead he was patient and got his man, could prove a very clever move.

This may come back to haunt me but... on 14:23 - Aug 20 with 1312 views | SomethingBlue | Both incredibly hard to call — if we ended up with a couple of draws it'd be ok although I'd rather go into Norwich not having to worry about a first win. I imagine it'll play out with a decent result in one and a disappointing outcome in the other; I don't see much sign of consistency in any of the three sides involved.

True. Unless we win both but get a point deduction for Carlos Edwards scoring the winner tomorrow and pretending he's Gwion? You didn't think of that, did you?!

This may come back to haunt me but... on 18:26 - Aug 20 with 1090 views | Currie10 | I think Wednesday may well think the same about us. I saw very extended highlights of them vs Hull, and while all over the shop at the back - could have conceded 4 - they were fluid going forward. Fletcher wasted three of the easiest chances you'll see. Mick Mccarthy was unbeaten at both grounds for us ( infact never lost at Hillsborough in the league ) in two of our general 6 points for the season. Lets hope Hurst can carry on both records.
