On talksport this morning following the Danish picking 5 aside players Brazil and McCoist picked their all time British 5 aside team. For the record Brazil (who imho gets a rough ride on here) picked 2 town players in his + Sivell as sub!).
Anyway mine would take some beating.

If it was 2018 version Southall he would plug the goal quite nicely.
Pronouns: He/Him/His.

In the spirit of reconciliation and happiness at the end of the Banter Era (RIP) and as a result of promotion I have cleared out my ignore list. Look forwards to reading your posts!
I was thinking the average age of Yallop's team was quite high.
You're pretty good with your Ipswich history. Do you have any idea what team Robson played when we won the five a side tournament in 1977? There is absolutely no footage of it on youtube.

I know Mills was in the team. I remember seeing a photo in the newspaper with him holding the trophy.
Edit: I'm pretty sure Wark mentioned the players in his autobiography. Alongside of course the tragic accident on the way home.

Not offhand, I will consult The Men Who Made The Town and be back shortly.
Unless anyone else has answered it in the meantime.

The 1970's were great for stuff like that. The other TV competition was the Superstars where sportsmen of the day competed in a mini Olympics. Keegan fell off his bike in 1976 whilst at his peak for Liverpool and England.

It does not specifically state which five a side tournament is was but there is a picture of the squad with a trophy. Squad was Cooper,Mills,Osman,Talbot,Mariner and Woods(Clive obviously).

All of whom played in the FA Cup Final except Osman who played a lot of games that season when Beattie was injured.
It was the first thing I ever saw Ipswich win. I think it used to be played just before Christmas and was on Sportsnight with Coleman.
