That has to be the target for 21st place. Couple of season ago that wouldn't have been enough had to get 51pts that season but usually 45pts does the trick.
So averaging 5pts a month is what we need. So far August we got 3pts, so we are 2 pts behind, still 9pts to play for in September so if we can get 7 of those pts we are on target.

So after 9 months we are on for 25 pts.
Blackpool and Rotherham recently been relegated on same sort of tally.

Our target should be to overhaul the lowest points total in The Championship, which was Rotherham United with 18, that would be much more realistic. 45 points with this side, is just a pipe dream! |  |

So there we go, 5 months in and we have 15 pts, averaging 3 pts a month. With another 4 full months to go we at this rate will end up with 27 pts.
Season starts now though doesn't it, so can Lambert conjure up 30pts in 4 months or 7.5 pts a month to survive? Not looking likely. | |

Surely winning a game would be first target! At the moment I couldn't say when that will come. Can't score and definitely can't defend so unless PL can change 80% of the team, it could be well into 2019 before there's any change. |  | | |

Not sure how months work out given that each month does not have the same amount of games.
If 45 points is the target we have 21 games to get those 30 points. Which is just under 1.5 points a game.
If we had achieved that average up to now we would be on 36 points - 10th with Forest
8 wins - 6 draws
9 wins - 3 draws
So far 2 wins out of 25 games, whereas we now need 8 or 9 more wins out of 21 games | | | |
