Tuesdays disappointing crowd 14:18 - Sep 20 with 5039 viewscarlisleaway

Out of interest how many fans watched the game on the Sky red button rather then attend the game.

Midweek games always have lower attendances than Saturdays, for obvious reasons.

I could have red buttoned it but went to pay tribute to The Beat. Disappointingly low attendance in that regard.

Celestial Gods but I am sick of dry lunches coming on here wittering on about the size of the crowd like there isnt a flamingly obvious reason for it being so low.

In the spirit of reconciliation and happiness at the end of the Banter Era (RIP) and as a result of promotion I have cleared out my ignore list. Look forwards to reading your posts!

You have made me smile a couple of times just lately.

I am lucky because I can return inside the box and carry on drinking if it gets too bad.

And you are right the second halfs do seem more exciting.

Mad that, I’m sure I saw a sell out crowd vs arsenal in cup on a mid week game...

And 8000 make their way to old Trafford mid week.

Baffling

We’ll be good again... one day

I watched it on ifollow

It's 106 miles to Portman Road, we've got a full tank of gas, half a round of Port Salut, it's dark... and we're wearing blue tinted sunglasses.

I did 'cos I was late home from work. But I'm a ST holder so I was counted as attending even if I didn't attend. They still got their four pennoth from me.

This should, naturally, class me as a Superfan and the club should pipe me to my seat on Saturday and have Brazilian girls kneeling in front of me, giving me vigorous oral relief. Except they'll probably be cheap and I'll end up with Paul Hurst, who, whilst a bloke, at least won't have to kneel.

If you're going to pick out unusual cup games against high-powered opposition ... I also remember just 11k on a chilly Wednesday at home against West Brom a few weeks before that Arsenal match.

2016-17 in the League, Saturday home games averaged 16,475, Tuesday home games averaged 15,100 (excludes Bank holiday games and the Norwich derby).

2017-18 in the League, Saturday home games averaged 16,119, Tuesday and Wednesday home games averaged 14,802 (excludes Bank holiday games and the Norwich derby).

Pick and choose, aren’t really too loyal, blame everything from weather (fcking weather) to ticket prices.
