Clearly pride in England doesn't equate to pride in English.

They've been revolting me since 2016 with their wilful ignorance, incompetence and thinly veiled excuses for hating foreigners.

I'd have a modicum more respect for them if they were honest about their motivations. But they don't even have the balls to own their bigotry.

In all fairness, everything that they've done since then has been pretty much an admission that it was all an admission that it was an unholy alliance of white supremacists and free-market loons.

Brexit going swimmingly on 08:09 - Sep 21 with 2655 views | Currie10 | Flipping this entirely, lets say for one minute we ended up remaining. I'll do a mini hypothetical situation here. Lets say, for some figures, 60% voted remain, 40% leave ( of people voted ) - so say 20mill voted remain and 12 mill leave. Something like that anyway, figures clearly won't be correct but you get the sentiment. So after threatening to leave, do people think all of a sudden France / Germany and co would be utterly thrilled at us remaining!? Would relations really short-term be fantastic!? I would genuinely like to know what people think to this. I mean say you're honest enough to tell your boss, you've got a job interview for another company. They might not be too chuffed. Then you don't get the other job, and come back with tail between legs. People will talk in the office etc. Short-term at least, relations may not be fantastic. As for people saying stuff like this, it was always going to be a hell of a mess. If you leave something with loads of others remaining, your bargaining power isn't going to be very high....!

So many 'progressive' corporate capitalist, globalist fanboys....... or weren't we meant to think too much about what we were voting to remain a part of? They did their best to sneak TTIP through didn't they. I accept as usual it was a vote between sh1t and sh1tter but stop pretending that the EU is/was the promised land! At least at a national level we have some sort of chance to influence policy makers. I see that yesterday the increasingly right wing Europeans decided to suck up to the Egyptian dictator Sisi to try and solve the migration crisis! [Post edited 21 Sep 2018 8:25]

Brexit going swimmingly on 22:23 - Sep 20 by Scuzzer | ...where is the football content in this post? |
It's latent: football, it can be revealed, is under threat. The Champions League won't let us play with their football; all the European players will have to register at their home towns twice a week. There will be no trade-transfer deal except with China; the value of European players will be halved immediately and any owning a Porsche will have to trade it in for some non-existent British equivalent. All blue passport owners will be sponsored by Marcus Evans in association with www.bettingsuperstars.co.uk and any club owning any player with such a passport will be subject to a total budget of £6 million a year. Politicians come and go. And you can bet our current shower will go as soon as the dust settles on Brexit. So I don't imagine the French or Germans will have long to bear a personal grudge. More pragmatically, as part of the EU and the single market we're a large enough part to cause problems by leaving. Far more problems for ourselves but that's by the by. A strong market benefits the rest of the EU, whereas having a largish competitive market on the EU's doorstep will not. The EU and its leading actors would welcome us back with open arms.

Brexit going swimmingly on 11:52 - Sep 21 with 2461 views | Heathlander | Imagine what this country could have done by now without Brexit. Our politicians would be working on actual stuff instead of a heap of banana bollox. We'd have hoverboards and jetpacks and drones that bring you cake. But NO we have to please the lot who got tricked by a bus.
