Getting rid of some decent Championship players and building a squad around unproven League 1 and 2 players was always going to be a massive gamble.
I was quietly optimistic that it would work, but it appears to be the (perhaps more obvious) outcome that we are in real trouble.
The rest of the division is getting so much stronger year on year that this shouldn't come as a huge surprise in reality. You need at least some quality to even have a realistic chance of survival* in the Championship and we appear to have absolutely none of that unfortunately...
