Is this our worst start to a season? 17:42 - Sep 24 with 1368 viewstimmy2guns

Debating with a town fan and was struggling to think of a worse one?

Presume the end of the premier league eras will be contenders, and the season Mick took over?

Might be a bit too early to ask... but throwing it out there for a bit of pub trivia...?

I'm sure Jewell won a game that season, believe it or not.

We started that season like Preston have this season though, we would have been on either 4 or 5 points i'd imagine

And, amazingly, we played really well in beating Watford. Even if it took a last-minute goal.

God, even Jewell gets the credit for Mick's achievements!

It’s currently our second longest start to a season without a league win. He has 7 more matches before he goes past Keane.

No ITFC manager has ever gone this long without a win in the second tier. Without looking at Jackie Milburn’s stats, Hurst might have gone longer than any Ipswich manager has before getting a first win under his belt.

Edit - just checked and Milburn’s first win came in his third game. The only way is up, Paul.

It's not even the worst one under Evans, we currently have one more point than Roy Keane's start in 2009/10
