Likeable character, really thinks he can turn it around for us.

Leave :

Could be too late in terms of points and players mentality.

Positive

Explains his decisions

Negatives

Total disconnect from academy

When we were looking for a new manager and evans gave his interview.i was looking forward to watching a steady stream of young players being blooded in first team.
Absalute opposite has happened.
Not saying we would be any better off by this approach but its something evans was pretty set on

He's asking players to pass the ball on the floor and actively trying to improve style of play.

He's not recruited anyone who is able to really unlock a defence or score a goal out of nothing. Rightly or wrongly a lot of us thought Nolan was this player. We're toothless at the minute.

The litter in and around the stadium will lessen with even fewer people coming to watch than last season. A positive impact on the environment!

Negative
The club has further lost its identity under PH and the most exciting crop of young players for many years, appear further from the first team than ever. Totally out of his depth!

Hurst's certainly thinking about the carbon footprint.

So seriously, positives we're coming up with reasons like litter, his voice, et el.

Conclusion - the stay seems to lack justification :)

He should stay as it's still too early to say what the specific problem is with his team and his management. I've watched every league game and still not sure what are permanent problems or temporary issues caused by too much change and confidence that's ebbing away.

He carries the can but that still means we need an idea of what a new manager has to do. It was a relatively easy decision when Jewell left because the team desperately needed tightening up and by then we also knew that this was a structural weakness almost throughout Jewell's tenure. Currently, there's no clear picture at all of the problem or the solution a new manager can quickly bring.

Having said that, he should go if there is real substance to the idea that he is determined to do things his way at the expense of others (or almost to prove to others that he and Doig are in charge). These are pure rumours but if it's seen that the upheaval is almost political then we risk making the damage much more lasting. Luckily, that decision will be made because of genuine inside info so not sure anyone needs to fan the flames. Especially if the rumours are exaggerated and we're just seeing people worried about a poor start and naturally looking to point fingers.
