I went for the first time last night - absolutely amazing.
Fresh food, ridiculously extensive menu, excellent customer service and deep fried ice cream!!

100%. Kwan Thai is better suited to those who like Chinese food with a slight Thai influence. After visiting Thailand myself the contrast was stark.
A few people I know have been to VK and have likened it to the Kwan Thai of Vietnamese cuisine. Lacking in authenticity. | | | |

Yep, the previous owner had cancer. Then eventually sold up, went down hill pretty quickly after that.
