They scored a goal at the weekend with a build up of about 35 passes and 10 players involved. Would love to have seen what he could do here.

I was listening to Swansea fans at the weekend and despite the start being poor league table wise they are incrediblky happy with the job that is being done under very difficult circumstances and how much some youngsers are progressing - Joe Roden in particular.

He really is managing how Hurst should have here - making best of what he has here, including youngsters, with some targeted rectruitment

Ahh, but it wouldn't be 'making the team his own' unless he tore it apart and rebuilt it with completely unproved players.

So, how much better than Wolfenden are their two young centre halves? Having come through what was until recently a Premier League academy are they Franco Baresi to our late era Mark Fish?

How much better than the combination of Wolfenden with an experienced team mate beside him are their two young centre halves?

The Roy Keane theory - what a mess. And so frustrating because we had a nice solid base to build on - and even with selling players good fees were brought in.
