That's not the only combination though, is it. You're not factoring in draws.
Lets say we win the next 8 on the bounce, and never again this season. That leaves us with 27 games to get 20 points. Easily doable.

You're assuming we'll either win or lose every game then, no draws?
I always go by the general rule of thumb that you need 1 point per game to have a chance of staying up, 2 points per game to have a chance of going up. So at the moment we're roughly 2 wins off target. Far from insurmountable. |  |
