If 50 points is the target to stay up 07:26 - Oct 4 with 2687 viewstextbackup

That leaves us needing 14 wins from the reMaining 35 games.

(Realise 50 night not be needed, but to be safe safe!)

I’m not sure anyone comes in and saves us

We’ll be good again... one day

There are a few other teams in a similar position so we just need to get more points than them and not lose to any of them.

I might just be in denial... but I still think we’ll be fine.

After the next international boredom weekend, there's 4 games against teams in and around us.

Whilst they'll of course be thinking the same, these are the games where points need to be picked up from if we are to stand any chance of staying up this season.

New manager bounce required??

I don’t see it being that high

Seems to be 6 or 7 teams that are v poor this year

45 will do us

39 points in 35 games?! Do able

Easier minus Hurst

As yet nobody is really pulling away.

I doubt we will get much from Swansea, but we really should be beating QPR at home shirley ffs!

We just need a win or am i being greedy?

I’m not even sure John Nolan would have any bounce about him if he went to a trampoline park!

Looking like 45 or 46 points could do it, I reckon, in which case we can probably scrape through with nine wins given that we seem to draw quite a lot. Need to really crack on with that though.

Why should we beat qpr??

They signed hamed and the hudd striker I cannot think of

Freeman is light years ahead of Nolan

That's not the only combination though, is it. You're not factoring in draws.

Lets say we win the next 8 on the bounce, and never again this season. That leaves us with 27 games to get 20 points. Easily doable.

Now not in a million years suggesting that we will win 8 in a row , but I think we can win 8 games this season. As we all know, that first win is crucial

Not sure there are sufficient home games to draw fifty of them😀

You're assuming we'll either win or lose every game then, no draws?

I always go by the general rule of thumb that you need 1 point per game to have a chance of staying up, 2 points per game to have a chance of going up. So at the moment we're roughly 2 wins off target. Far from insurmountable.
