Felt so sorry for Freddie Sears today 19:31 - Oct 20 with 705 viewsswede

The guy ran his heart out with little support. Now I'm no football coach, but it doesn't take a genius to work out that continually lumping the ball in the air to a 5ft 7inch striker, up against a 6ft 1 inch defender will be fruitless. Despite his efforts, Freddie did not win one aerial ball against Joel Lynch this afternoon.

Quite honestly it does not matter who we have played up front this season Harrison Walters Jackson or Sears if he is totally isolated we could have Harry Kane up there he would struggle!

Why do you feel sorry for someone out of his depth but paid massive wages anyway? It’s the fans you should feel sorry for having to watch that .-/ what is it 3 in 50? Most keepers score more than that

Sears should either play alongside a target man (which we dont have) or play in one of the three supporting a striker (4231).

Sears has great energy and a good touch, but is not a goal threat as a striker. Still probably better than his competition though.
