On mine they sent it "from me" same as yours and the password was actually one I had used for something else but not my work account, so it wasn't 100% correct. | | | |

Had the same yesterday just ignore it. These scum bags purchase data from hackers. What I would say is if you still use the password they have quoted on any site where you may make payments online then change it.
My password they quoted is one I only use on sites, such as TWTD where it can't do any harm.
Thing to remember is if one person has purchased your details others may have done so as well.
Do a Google search you will be surprised how common this is. |  |

Then when these things inevitably happen then you only have to chnage one password.

I use Avast free. It controls my passwords and I only need one master password to access that.

Well I use their free anti-virus alongside Malwarebytes as a rule, so yes, I suppose it was an extension offered along with that.
Have a look mate.
Although as Dan has pointed out to me in the past modern Windows comes with its own built in Defender kit anyway which is pretty solid as far as I can tell.
But I think once you allow one to take over the other takes a back seat to stop any conflicts. Like I say, the Avast password thingy is really useful, I've found.
Has the separate browser for banking too, but I dunno how the experts feel about that. I do use it as it makes sense to my simple mind. | |
